CBT has been proven, in relevant cases, to help return a Claimant to their pre-accident psychological condition.

CBT is offered to the Claimant on a reactive basis once treatment has been indicated as being beneficial in a medico-legal report, and is carried out by an appropriate expert.
It is usually the case that a Consultant will refer a Claimant for psychological assessment as part of the evidential process, and it is at this stage that CBT is normally offered to the Claimant.
